I’ve eaten lunch on those steps after MoMa visiting, but it never seemed that eerie in real life. If this was your objective, than Kudos. If not than I should probably stop this horror movie marathon i’ve been on.
Cool Pic either way!

A really interesting study of light and dark. The balance of the pattern of strongest light – the light along the steps, the broad band at the foot of the pillars on the right and the vertical light patch of the more distant block (bluey in shade) describe a clear bird-like shape (the fanned out tail being along the steps) and they create an interesting tension at their point of meeting. [Sorry, I sound as if I've been slipped something in my supper, but it is very stricking ] Thanks for sharing this.
I really do not know what your personal interpretation of that shot is, but for myself, it really reflects a moment of a silenced corporate world. The lighting in it prevails the thought of how many people are actually still in their offices, while the rest of the world is sleeping. Good Shot.
A seemingly dull image coming alive! Well done!!!
It looks peaceful but bright and live at the same time
A brilliantly taken picture…..love the whole play of light:)
nice picture..

Really really nice effect. I really liked it.
Light and dark and light and dark. Wow.
fantastic shot!
This is a great shot! When I enlarge it,it only got better. Loved the whole darkness set off by the light on the stairs and building windows.
Splendid! I wish I could capture something glamorous!
Love this! So much dimension to the photo; hasn’t looked like that the times I’ve looked across from MOMA.
Striking, I really need to start looking at everyday things differently !
Very nice!

Love this. I’m away from NYC for a little bit, and this makes me miss those random late night walks throughout the city. Just wonderful

Lighting is such an important thing in appreciation of architecture and space…your shot captures just that…love it!
